Semester at DHBW Stuttgart
These programmes are designed for exchange and study abroad students who wish to study for one or two semesters at DHBW Stuttgart. Courses are available either in English or in German.

Students who consider taking curriculum classes taught in German need to check the information of the respective department on the German website and contact the International Office.

Exchange students can choose from any classes DHBW Stuttgart offers according to their language ability:
- Students who wish to take regular curriculum classes in English need to prove their knowledge of English before arrival in Stuttgart (B2 Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR)).
Native English speakers are exempted.
- Students who wish to take classes taught in German need to have the equivalent of B2 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
ECTS & General Requirements
Average work load per semester is 25 ECTS, maximum 30 ECTS per semester. 1 credit (ECTS) = 30 hours of work. The minimum number of credits exchange students are required to take ist 5 ECTS. If students wish to take more credits, they must contact the International Office.
